  31.   OK, I downloaded c-kermit 6.0 from the  page you indicated. I changed the
  32.   speed to 38400  and I connect  at  that speed,  but  the screen  is badly
  33.   messed up, which suggests a control flow problem.  What modem type should
  34.   I put there? I have Practical Peripherals 33.6 Mini Tower modem.
